Strunk Media Group was honored to be a finalist at the 2017 Lehigh Valley Business Awards on Tuesday, December 5th. The event recognizes Greater Lehigh Valley’s most innovative and driven businesses and its leaders who share a commitment to professional distinction, business growth and the surrounding community.
The event acknowledged businesses in categories including Lehigh Valley Business of the Year, Corporate Citizen of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, and Executive of the Year. Strunk Media Group was honored to be one of five finalists for the Emerging Business of the Year Award.
“These businesspeople create jobs, provide employees the means to support families, carry the nonprofit community through charitable donations and, yes, pay taxes,” Mike O’Rourke, publisher of Lehigh Valley Business, stated. O’Rourke acknowledged that the selected businesses demonstrate “Solid determination, strong ethics, visionary leadership and deep commitment to the things that really matter, their customers, employees and one’s community.”
An independent panel of judges selected the finalists and winners and over 250 people attended the ceremony. As a young and rapidly growing company, Strunk Media Group was excited to be among so many other successful and inspirational business leaders in the Lehigh Valley.
“It was a really tremendous honor for the whole team,” CEO and owner, Matt Strunk said. “I am very proud of my team for all of their dedicated efforts over the last year. We have all been working tirelessly to keep up with our growth and ensuring success for our clients, and it’s really starting to show.”
As stated at the ceremony, today’s emerging businesses of the year will become tomorrow’s businesses of the year, and Strunk Media Group plans to live up to that expectation.
